your incident call is now part of the record, transcript and all. rootly's scribe agent joined incident calls in the september 9 release, transcribing live with speaker labels into every incident timeline.

Context
Rootly's changelog entry of September 9, 2026 says Scribe joins your incident call on its own when the incident gets started. The entry lists what the update added: re-adding Scribe after the initial call ends by asking @Rootly in Slack or with /rootly scribe, a higher accuracy transcription engine, speaker labels, each call stored as its own session and stitched into one continuous incident transcript, and a more accurate AI summary with speaker attribution. It says the transcript and summary live on the incident next to the timeline, alerts and action items, with a Scribe tab in the web app. Rootly's docs, read as current documentation, name Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Webex and GoToMeeting, and say transcripts are PII-redacted before storage across 36 categories.
Scribe existed before September 9, and an August 11, 2026 changelog title shows an earlier Meeting Scribe release, so joined incident calls in the september 9 release overstates it. The first-party text supports re-join, a higher accuracy engine, speaker labels and stitched sessions as the September 9 items. The transcript sits next to the timeline on the incident record and the text does not say entries are written into every timeline. Live speaker labels also appear in current docs, a later window, so whether they were new on September 9 is not separated. Plan availability, consent and retention terms were not read. The postmortem just stopped depending on who took notes is the author's line.
