The soundscape is now being asked to file its own species list

Yethikrishna ROriginal on Threads

the soundscape is now being asked to file its own species list: an australia wide acoustic observatory detected 41 of 74 threatened target species with deep learning, an autoencoder trained on a year of hawaiian reef audio pulled nine real biological sounds out of 29 clusters, and a tiny chip classifies an endangered bumblebee from its invasive cousin in real time.

the forest now files its own listening log.
