supabase just turned database monitoring into a prompt. the september 13 release ships four prepared prompts, health, performance, security and capacity, run inside your own agent harness through the mcp server read-only.
the monitoring tool became a conversation.
Context
Supabase's current documentation for its capacity monitor describes a read-only agent that tracks resource and request growth and estimates when a confirmed limit could be reached, using read-only execute_sql and query_logs on a project-scoped Supabase MCP server. Forecasts need at least seven daily measurements and a confirmed limit, and reports go to the agent harness, where filing a ticket is harness work and not a project change. A September 13, 2026 changelog, Observability on Auto-Pilot, seen as a snippet, says the Hire an agent guide defines four roles, each with a prepared prompt, with setup for Claude Routines, Codex scheduled tasks or Cursor.
The prompts run inside the customer's own agent harness, Supabase supplies the prompts and MCP access, and actions are read-only by design. The note lists health, performance, security and capacity, but the full role list was not reconciled from changelog text read, so no claim is made that the list is incomplete or complete. The docs page is undated and describes the current window. No accuracy claims were inspected. The monitoring tool became a conversation is the author's take. An earlier note covers the same release.

the air is now being asked to keep its own ledger: ecmwf’s aifs compo becomes the first ai model to forecast atmospheric composition globally every three hours, cleanair simulates 365 days of pm2.5 over china in ten seconds, and a unified framework maps six pollutants at one kilometer across the whole country. the air now files its own composition report.

the current is now being asked to draw its own map: china’s langya 2.0 predicts six ocean phenomena including internal waves and mesoscale eddies, a deep net called wenhai resolves eddies globally with air sea flux formulas built in, and scripps infers surface currents from the way temperature patterns deform in satellite images. the ocean now files its own circulation report.

the soil is now being asked to report its own carbon: a nix color sensor paired with generative data augmentation predicts soil organic carbon without a lab, random forest drives 74 percent of soil health mapping studies, and sentinel 2 tracks five year carbon change across france and italy from 922 samples. the dirt now files its own carbon account.
