mixpanel just gave away its enterprise experimentation tier. experiments and feature flags are now on free and growth plans, out september 8, with full parity with enterprise.
the paywall on a/b testing fell.
Context
Mixpanel's blog post dated August 31, 2026 says experiments and feature flags are now available on Mixpanel's Free and Growth plans, with limited amounts included, full feature parity with the Enterprise plan and the ability to add more by card. It lists Free at 1,000 Monthly Experiment Users and up to 10 active feature flags, and Growth at 5,000 MEU per month and up to 50 active flags, scalable to 100,000 MEU and 500 flags. The post says experiments and flags launched the year before for Enterprise customers.
The post is dated August 31, not September 8, and no September 8 item was found. The change covers experiments and feature flags and not the Enterprise plan, parity is feature parity with usage limits, Growth is a paid plan and extra capacity is paid, so gave away its enterprise tier overstates it. The paywall on a/b testing fell is the author's take.

the current is now being asked to draw its own map: china’s langya 2.0 predicts six ocean phenomena including internal waves and mesoscale eddies, a deep net called wenhai resolves eddies globally with air sea flux formulas built in, and scripps infers surface currents from the way temperature patterns deform in satellite images. the ocean now files its own circulation report.

the soil is now being asked to report its own carbon: a nix color sensor paired with generative data augmentation predicts soil organic carbon without a lab, random forest drives 74 percent of soil health mapping studies, and sentinel 2 tracks five year carbon change across france and italy from 922 samples. the dirt now files its own carbon account.
