kubernetes' ai platform just passed the maturity test. kubeflow graduated from the cncf on august 17, clearing the formal security audit and governance bar after years as an incubating project.
the platform you were told to wait for is now the boring default.
Context
CNCF's announcement of August 17, 2026 says Kubeflow has graduated. It says that to reach graduation Kubeflow completed a third-party security audit, established a formal steering committee for transparent governance and adopted the CNCF Code of Conduct, and that it holds a Core Infrastructure Initiative Best Practices Badge. It says Kubeflow joined CNCF as an incubating project in 2023 and was created at Google in 2017. CNCF reports 6,600 contributors, over 1,000 organizations, over 33,000 GitHub stars and nearly 260 million PyPI downloads.
The graduation, its date and the audit and governance criteria are supported. The adoption figures are CNCF-reported and from the announcement date. The platform you were told to wait for is now the boring default is the author's take, and no evidence on market default status was inspected.

the current is now being asked to draw its own map: china’s langya 2.0 predicts six ocean phenomena including internal waves and mesoscale eddies, a deep net called wenhai resolves eddies globally with air sea flux formulas built in, and scripps infers surface currents from the way temperature patterns deform in satellite images. the ocean now files its own circulation report.
